  • Electronic Commerce Regulations 2002 — trader identification & commercial communication standards (this notice)
  • UK GDPR & Data Protection Act 2018 — how your personal data is handled (see Privacy Policy)

Data controller

Rugsville is the data controller for personal data collected through this site. We process customer data in line with UK GDPR principles — see our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for details.

To exercise your data-subject rights, email support@rugsville.co.uk. Complaints can be raised with the UK Information Commissioner's Office.

Intellectual property

Rugsville is a trade name. All site content — product photography, copy, design and code — is the property of Rugsville or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

Accuracy of content

We take reasonable care to ensure listings are accurate. Handmade rugs naturally vary slightly in colour, pile and finish — listing photos show one representative example. Variation within reasonable tolerance is a feature of handmade craft, not a defect. Material differences from the listing are covered under our Returns Policy.

Governing law & jurisdiction

For UK consumer transactions, the laws of England & Wales apply. UK consumer-protection law is paramount — nothing on this site limits or excludes statutory consumer rights.

For UK consumer dispute resolution, you may use HMCTS small claims or apply to a UK Alternative Dispute Resolution provider before litigation.
