The geometric vocabulary translates well to the loom that produced this piece. The pattern is graphed in a high-resolution Jacquard system that reads colour and position at the level of a single point. The cartoon was drawn at one-to-one scale, refined through several rounds of sampling, and approved for the production run only when the beige register held against every reference light the studio could throw at it.

Each pattern repeat carries a slight asymmetry that breaks the tile and lets the field read as a single composition. The beige register was tuned across multiple sample looms before approval. Production is in Turkey to a density that holds the fine line work the design depends on. The result is a piece that looks considered rather than mass-produced from a metre away.

The fibre

Heat-set polypropylene with a soft hand and high resistance to abrasion, fading, and staining. Colour is set into the yarn through temperature rather than surface dye, which is what gives the rug its decade-plus colour stability under indoor light. The pile recovers from furniture compression and does not shed.

The composition

A composition built around beige with quieter accents framing the geometric motifs. The eye moves across the field rather than landing in one place. Pairs with walnut, brass, leather, linen, raw oak, and warm wood floors. Pairs poorly with strongly patterned upholstery; the rug expects to be the only graphic element in the composition. The colour is locked into the fibre and will not drift across the years.

At the size as listed, the rug works as a colour anchor in any room sized to the dimensions of the piece. The beige field reads first; the geometric drawing reveals on close approach.

Care

Weekly vacuum with any setting. Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. The fibre tolerates household cleaning fluids that would damage wool, including dilute bleach for stubborn organic stains. Air-dry flat after washing. No professional service required at any point in the rug's life. The pile will not shed and will not develop the bald patches that wool can after years of furniture rotation.
