The Persian composition reads at room scale and reveals on close inspection. The pattern was drafted in pencil and refined through three rounds of sample weaving before the production run was committed. The studio works to a brief that prizes longevity of palette over seasonal trend, which is why the colour register here is built to remain in conversation with new upholstery for at least a decade.

Sampling and revision ran for several weeks before the cartoon was approved. Production is in Turkey, on a Jacquard system that resolves colour and position at the level of a single point. The orange palette was selected for longevity under indoor light, with the dominant tones tuned to remain stable for at least a decade of normal use.

The fibre

Polypropylene heat-set to lock colour at the molecular level. The yarn does not absorb spills the way wool does, which means stains lift cleanly with a damp cloth and the pile resists fading from sunlight or repeated cleaning. The piece is built for high-traffic areas where wool would degrade.

The composition

The drawing is Persian in vocabulary and orange in register, with subtle tonal modulation across the field that prevents the pattern from reading as flat repetition. The composition holds at distance and reveals on approach. The piece works under furniture and in open passage equally; the pile is engineered for both compression and traffic without losing its surface finish.

The piece in a room

At the size as listed, the rug works as a colour anchor in any room sized to the dimensions of the piece. The orange field reads first; the Persian drawing reveals on close approach.

Care

Vacuum on standard setting once a week. Address spills with a damp cloth; the fibre will not absorb the spill the way a natural pile does, which means cleanup is a one-pass operation rather than a multi-stage one. Cool machine-wash is acceptable for the smaller formats. Dries flat in a couple of hours. The piece is built for high-traffic rooms where a wool rug would compress and dull within a few seasons.
